Aisha bint Abi Bakr

Wife of the Prophet Muhammad and one of the most influential figures in early Islamic history, born around 613 CE. She transmitted thousands of hadith and was consulted on matters of theology and law. After the Prophet's death she remained a significant political and religious authority in the early Muslim community.
